1080p .mkv trouble
My specs:
MB Asus P5W DH DELUXE/WIFI-AP Intel Core2 Duo Extreme X6800 2.93GHz Dual Core Socket 775 Processor
CPU: Core 2 Duo E6320 Processor 1.86GHz
Memory: Corsair 2GB PC6400 800MHz 240-Pin DDR2 RAM (TWIN2X2048-6400)
HD: Seagate 500GB SATA
Video: Gainward 7600GT 256MB DDR3
1080p mkv files aren’t running or, if they do, there’s only 1 frame per minute.
My question is: should I buy a new video card (9800GT) or PopcornHour A110 (prezentare video) to be able to play files smoothly? I am still not sure if the new video card will do the job… Also, the price difference between the two is like 50-70$.
What shuold I do?

I’ve solved the problem. Got K-Lite Codec tools + CoreAVC and everything works smoothly now.
